LIFT KIT COSTS

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO LIFT / LEVEL MY VEHICLE?

At Legends Auto Boutique, we specialize in professional truck lift kit installations using only premium name-brand components. Whether you're exploring a basic leveling kit or a full hydraulic AnyLevel system, understanding the price ranges—and what you get—is key. Below is a breakdown of what different truck lift kits cost at our state of the art facility in Connecticut.

Leveling Kits

Start at ~$1,000

At Legends Auto Boutique, we only install premium brand-name components for all of our Lift & Leveling kits. Pricing includes professional installation and high-quality parts designed for long-term performance.

IFS Kits

Start at ~$4,000

IFS lift kits involve more labor and complex components than basic kits. These systems replace critical suspension geometry and require precision tuning. We use trusted brands engineered for proper alignment, durability, and optimal ride quality on and off road. Starting at roughly $4,000 per project.

Coilover Kits

Start at ~$4,000

Coilover lifts offer adjustable height and improved handling, but the cost reflects the advanced components involved. Most setups require upgraded control arms, mounts, and shock tuning to function properly—installed and dialed in by our experienced team. Starting at roughly $4,000 per project.

AnyLevel Lift Kits

Start at ~$25,000

AnyLevel systems use full hydraulic lift technology and heavy-duty components that raise or lower your truck on demand. The premium cost reflects the complex installation, electronics integration, and custom calibration involved—plus the unmatched show-ready stance.

COST FACTORS

PRICINg FACTORS FOR INSTALLING A LIFT OR LEVEL KIT

Complexity of the Vehicle's Suspension

Every truck is built differently. From basic leaf spring setups to advanced coil, multi-link, or air suspension systems, the make, model, and trim can significantly influence the difficulty of the job. More intricate systems—such as those with factory control arms, track bars, or sway bars—require more labor and expertise, which affects the overall price.

Complexity of the Suspension System being installed

Different types of lift systems have varying levels of complexity. For example, installing just coils tends to be less involved compared to installing a Coilover suspension or an air ride system. Coilover lifts, air ride systems and especially the ANYLEVEL Lift kits require more intricate adjustments, additional components, and more labor time for installation, which will impact the overall cost.

Condition of the Vehicle

Rust, seized bolts, or worn components can complicate an otherwise routine installation. Extra labor time, replacement parts, or unexpected repairs may be necessary to ensure everything is installed safely and correctly—especially on older or high-mileage trucks.

Additional Services or Modifications

Many of our customers opt for additional services or modifications in conjunction with the lift kit installation. Such as custom powder coating the lift kit components and other Factory suspension components to your liking. These modifications not only elevate the final result but also impact the total cost due to the added labor and materials involved.

LIFT KIT FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is it illegal to lift your truck too much?

Some states require a minimum headlight height. Each state’s laws are different. We suggest reading up on your state’s laws. In our experience, nice trucks that are modified do not get bothered by law enforcement. More often than not, you may get pulled over just because they want to check out your ride. At the end of the day, it is your call whether or not you want to risk the potential tickets.

What are the cons of lifting my truck?

Though there are more pros to lifting your truck, of course just like any job…there are a couple cons. You will certainly have a tougher time getting into the truck but that’s why we offer electric side steps that come down when you open the doors. You may have a tough time fitting places like your garage or parking garages. Drive throughs will become a nuisance too. But these are all good problems to have when your truck looks as good as it will!

Do you offer a warranty on your lift kit installations?

We offer a LIFETIME warranty on workmanship. If something is wrong, we will take a look at the truck and if it is something caused by our install. We will fix it free of charge. If there is an issue with one of the parts installed, the warranty is solely up to the manufacturer. Most manufacturers have Limited Warranties meaning they only cover their parts for so long. Each manufacturers warranty is different. *Our Workmanship Warranty is immediately void when the components are altered or touched in any way.

How much does it cost to lift or level a truck?

Lift kit pricing depends on the type of system, vehicle complexity, and any custom work requested. Basic leveling kits start around $1,000, while premium setups like AnyLevel systems can exceed $25,000. Check our Lift Kit Pricing Guide for a full breakdown.

How long does a lift kit installation take?

Installation times vary. A basic leveling kit can take a few hours, while a full suspension lift with custom work may require multiple days. We’ll give you a clear timeline when quoting your build.

Will lifting my truck void the warranty?

It depends on your manufacturer and the modifications made. Some dealerships may claim it voids your warranty, but the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects you — they must prove the lift caused the issue. We always recommend consulting your dealer first.

Can I finance my lift kit installation?

Yes! We offer financing options with Affirm to help you build your dream truck without breaking the bank. Ask our team about pre-approval or apply directly on our website.

Do lift kits affect ride quality or handling?

Properly installed, high-quality kits should maintain or even improve ride quality, especially when combined with upgraded shocks or coilovers. Cheap kits or improper installs, on the other hand, can negatively impact handling and comfort.

Can I return my truck to stock after a lift?

In most cases, yes. Many lift kit installations are reversible, especially when no welding or permanent modifications are made. However, we recommend consulting with us before making changes.

Coil Lift Kits

A coil lift kit is a suspension upgrade that replaces a truck’s factory coil springs with taller, stiffer coils to increase ground clearance and raise the truck’s body. Ideal for solid axle trucks, coil lift kits are commonly used to improve off-road performance, enable larger tire fitment, and achieve a more aggressive stance. These kits come in various lift heights and can be tailored to meet the specific suspension goals of any truck owner, whether for daily driving or off-roading.

Coilover Lift Kits

A coilover lift kit combines coil springs and shock absorbers into a single adjustable unit, offering full control over suspension height and performance. Known for their precision handling and damping adjustability, coilover lift kits are a top choice for off-road enthusiasts looking to fine-tune ride quality for different terrains. These kits enhance articulation, support larger tires, and deliver improved ride dynamics on both the trail and the road.

Independent Front Suspension (IFS) Lift Kits

An IFS lift kit is specifically engineered for trucks with independent front suspension systems. These kits increase front-end ride height using components like spacers, extended control arms, or longer coil springs, allowing for better ground clearance and bigger tire installation. IFS lift kits are ideal for drivers who prioritize comfort and on-road drivability while still needing improved off-road performance and a more lifted, aggressive look.

Airbag Lift Kit

An airbag lift kit uses inflatable airbags in the suspension system to provide fully adjustable ride height and load support. These systems allow drivers to raise or lower their truck for different scenarios—like boosting ground clearance for off-roading or lowering the vehicle for better fuel efficiency on the highway. Airbag suspension kits offer a smoother ride, customizable height settings, and are especially useful for towing or carrying heavy payloads.

AnyLevel Lift Kit

The ANYLEVEL lift is an advanced air suspension system that gives truck owners real-time, on-the-fly control over ride height. Compatible with factory air suspension setups, this innovative lift kit allows users to raise, lower, or level their truck using a digital control module—no additional suspension parts required. With adjustable settings for different driving conditions, the ANYLEVEL lift provides unmatched convenience, style, and functionality for show builds, daily drivers, or work trucks.
