We're seeking a passionate and creative Content Creator to join our dynamic team. In this part-time role, you'll play a key part in producing compelling and engaging video content that resonates with our audience and elevates our brand. The ideal candidate is an outgoing individual who thrives on storytelling through videography and is skilled in modern video production techniques. You should be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, with expertise in using high-end editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines. A passion for creating impactful content that drives engagement and resonates with viewers will set you up for success in this role.
Requirements
- 18 Years of Age or Older
- CLEAN DRIVING RECORD - Please state if you do not have one
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to Commute to North Haven, CT for work
- No Felonies - Please state if you have one
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Film, Media, Communications, or related work experience (preferred, but not required).
- Proven experience in videography, with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of video projects (portfolio submission required).
- Proficiency in modern video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, and familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite tools (After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong creative vision with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging video content for various platforms (social media, web, and internal communications).
- Comfortable and confident on camera, with the ability to host or narrate videos as needed.
- Possession of personal, professional-grade videography equipment (camera, lenses, lighting, audio gear, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of lighting, audio, and camera operation for creating professional-quality videos.
- Experience with social media platforms and video content optimization for different channels (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with the marketing and design teams.
- Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a passion for storytelling and creating compelling video content.
- Familiarity with trends in videography and content creation, with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and styles.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, website, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop video concepts and campaigns that align with the company’s brand and objectives.
- Create engaging and visually appealing content that enhances the company’s online presence and attracts the target audience.
- Manage the end-to-end production process for video projects, from ideation and storyboarding to filming, editing, and post-production.
- Maintain a consistent visual and brand identity across all video content, ensuring that the tone, style, and messaging align with company standards.
- Record and edit promotional videos, product demonstrations, interviews, and event footage as needed.
- Regularly contribute new content ideas, staying up to date with trends and best practices in video content creation and social media engagement.
- Ensure timely delivery of video content, managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Optimize videos for different social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) by adjusting formats, lengths, and captions as needed.
- Monitor the performance of video content through analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for future improvements.
- Work both independently and collaboratively on video production, from solo projects to team-based efforts.
- Handle and maintain all video equipment, ensuring it is in working order and ready for use at all times.
- Engage in on-camera work when necessary, acting as a host or presenter for certain video content.
